Affirming agency and nurturing connection through yoga — on and off the mat
Yoga as union
Deepening connection with the body, mind, and world
“When we feel untethered and disconnected from our bodies, we are unable to see our connection with other living bodies and beings,” says Michelle Cassandra Johnson, author and spiritual teacher.
Practicing yoga, which means “union” in Sanskrit, can help us find personal and collective healing and liberation. Cultivating awareness, managing stress, regulating our nervous system, and fostering inner peace impacts how we engage with the world.
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, we want you to have tools that make you feel resourced. Justflo Wellness makes ancient yoga philosophy and practices—physical poses (asana), meditation, and breathwork (pranayama)—accessible for today.

The addition of morning yoga as the start to [Campout] attendees' day was a highlight for many. Like the smiles on many faces, we thoroughly enjoyed having [Missy’s] knowledge and expertise.

I enjoyed taking the yoga class led by Missy! It was a great reminder for me to be more intentional with my movements, to add stretching into my daily ritual, and to not always see movement as exercise. My body needed to slow down and for me to get steady and sure about my intentions for it. Missy led a gentle meditation and reflection that complemented the slow yoga perfectly. I especially appreciated how she took the time to hear me, ask questions, and get to know me personally.

This experience was at the intersection of all things I view as wellness: spending time in nature, with like-minded people, while being physically in tune with your body. Missy did a fantastic job cultivating this experience for us, particularly newcomers to the wellness space. She is approachable with her practice and that’s what I love the most about her!

Part rest. Part reflection. Part renewal...but the whole was all about connecting, be it bomb Black women, nature, my body and mind. This meditative hike gave what I needed! And Missy was an adaptable, gracious and knowledgeable instructor!
